  • We used Tilson Guide Service with Capt Erik Tilson for some fishing . My 2 boys and I flew from Hawaii and the one activity my son Memphis wanted to do was catch a bass . Capt Erik took our reservation last minute and booked us the very next morning . We meet at sunrise on lake Tohopekaliga and within minutes on a quick boat ride he took us all to a secret spot and in no time we caught our very first bass . I think any other guides wouldn’t have had us catch fish as fast as Capt Erick . Being a local fisherman who grow up in the area fishing with his grandfather & the years of knowledge of the area prevailed . Every location on the lake he took us we caught fish. I have been on lots of guided ocean fishing trips but the trip that I had with Captain Erik by far tops all of those ocean trips combined!
